Where one person introduces potential customers to another person who will be delivering goods or services in exchange for a lead or introductory commission, then this Lead Commission Agreement can be used to record the agreement between the parties 

What does the Commission Agreement say?
The Agreement:
  • Generally defines the roles of both the person identifying or sourcing customers, and the person delivering the goods or services
  • Provides for the protection of confidential information
  • Sets out the rights of termination of the contract
  • Sets out the commission calculation in the event of either once-off sales, or recurring (for example monthly / retainer) sales
  • Provides for dispute resolution

  • Read the document to ensure that it suits your requirements. Make changes as required
  • Briefly state the nature of goods or services offered by the Supplier in clause 2.1
  • Complete both parties’ details (names and addresses) in clause 1, with the person supplying the goods or services as the Supplier, and the person introducing customers as the Associate
  • Complete the commission structure in clauses 6 and 7
  • Get both parties to sign the document
