Why do I need an Access to Information Act Manual?
In terms of section 51 of the Promotion of Access to Information Act, the head of a private body must compile a section 51 manual, and submit their manual to the South African Human Rights Commission. The Information Manual strives to set out the process a requestor needs to follow to request access to the private body’s information.

- Ensure the completed Information Manual is signed and submitted to the SAHRC.
