What type of business should use Basic Terms and Conditions?
It is preferable for a business to have some form of terms and conditions applicable to their transactions with clients. However, there are some types of businesses that may not wish to use more comprehensive agreements, either because it is not industry practice, or because the type of clientele are not amenable to signing contracts. In these instances, having a few succinct clauses inserted into your order form or data capture form may protect your interests. If your business provides a service to clients that typically has a quick turnaround time and is relatively uncomplicated, such as delivering flowers or facilitating a small once-off event then this document may be useful to you.
