Who should use this Employment Contract?
- This employment contract may be used in respect to the employment of a teacher or educator, and caters for school terms and extra-mural requirements. Salary payments are provided for on a monthly basis, and a probation period is built in, giving the opportunity to determine whether the prospective Employee is suitable for the position.
- This contract may be considered for schools that are open on a term basis. Where the school is open year-around (eg. A crèche / nursery school), the normal employment contract for salaried Employees may be used, in which event the General Policies and Procedures of Employment in respect of a nursery school / crèche are suggested.

What do you need to do to use the Employment Contract?
- Read the document to ensure that it suits your requirements. Make changes as required.
- Add in the necessary details to the agreement (eg. names, salary etc), sign the agreement, and get your Employee to sign as well.
- Note – it is also advisable to implement a set of Policies and Procedures in your workplace, detailing various other company procedures and policies not covered in the Employment Contract.
